Today we poured the large forms (upper picture) as Skippy's crew broke out above the hole and is now working on ground level block laying (lower picture).

The notch in the top is for the bar joists and the hole there so wires can be run through into the building. The next layer of block will be for the floor of the building (all the block laid so far has been for the crawl space).

Dave & the crew has been helping Anne learn proper Construction Lingo. Anne learned today that mortar does not "glue" but rather it adheres.
